Top Case Liner, BMW K1600GT/GTL, R1200RT (2014-18), R1250RT (thru 2024), Honda Goldwing – Dual Compartment

This liner version with dual interior compartments fits the 49 liter BMW top case that’s standard on K1600GTL models. The same top case is optional for K1600GT, R1250RT (up to 2023), and liquid-cooled R1200RT from 2014 thru ’18.  This liner also fits the top case on 2012 and earlier Honda Goldwing models!
It’s a huge bag that’s a very practical luggage solution especially for two-up riders who like to have separate spaces for their things. Solo riders as well can benefit from having two distinct packing areas, because in this dual liner, the main compartment is divided into two separate but equal size sections. There is also an external zippered pocket designed to make the very most of the available space within the top case.  A liner with a single compartment is also available: M49ST

Each big compartment opens around three sides for easy access with its own 2-way zip. Both sides also have an inside zipped mesh pocket to help keep contents organized. The large external zipped pocket on one side, when face-up in the top case, is readily accessible when the lid is open. It also helps you identify one side from the other. Kathy’s double top case liner has D-rings to attach a shoulder strap. And it has comfortable cradle type handles for balanced carrying which also velcro together for ease of use.

Please NOTE: This 49 Liter BMW top case is shaped differently than the 49 liter top case found on several earlier BMW models, though the capacity is the same. The design of this Kathy’s liner is likewise shaped differently to match this newer style top case. Also, the K1600 Bagger Grand America uses yet another style of top case, and Kathy now makes a special liner for it too. Be sure to choose the correct Journey Designs product to fit your bike!
